To our amazing guests,
After serving over 336,966 eggs and 124,800 pounds of potatoes, it is with great sadness that we announce Deags Diner will be closing its doors after 5 wonderful years on March 26th. This will be our final day as a brick and mortar location, but it is not the end of Deags. We have decided not to renew our lease here; however, Joe will continue to operate our food truck and catering services. He will be working out of the Easton Country Club, booking catering events and preparing the diner food truck for parties.
Deags Local Diner started as a pipe dream, one that we had while wondering if we could really make it happen. The late Yianni Davos made that dream a reality. He gave a young family the chance to open their own diner, and we successfully launched it in just 2 months, embarking on this amazing journey.
We took over what was previously here and had to earn the trust of our new customers. Our start was slow, but before we knew it, Deags was becoming something more than we ever hoped for.
We’ve had the pleasure of meeting incredible people throughout the years. The great relationships built and the faces and families that became regulars made it special. Our loyal guests have become like family, supporting us from day one. We have been blessed to survive these last couple of years with the help of all of you. We are fortunate to have employed great staff who have helped build Deags to where it is today. We are forever grateful for everything you have done to make this place such a success. It is your smiling faces that made Deags a welcoming and friendly local diner. This is not goodbye, but see you soon.
It has been a great pleasure to serve and feed all of you these past 5 years.
We are forever grateful for your love, support, and patronage.
Thank you and Sincerely,
Joe and Sandra
